For many people protection against the financial consequences of dying or being unable to work comes low down their list of priorities!
We all accept that we have to insure our house, our car and sometimes our business, but most people do not value THEMSELVES as highly!
At NJL Mortgage Solutions Ltd we aim to give structured advice on the importance of being adequately insured in the following areas:-

- These contracts pay out on the diagnosis of a defined specific illness either as a lump sum or an income benefit.
- 73% of claims are related to a heart attack, stroke or cancer (Source - Scottish Providents Claims Reports January 1996 to June 2005)
- Most people have some cover in the event of death, but a critical illness policy can alleviate potential hardship.

- These policies are used to protect dependents/beneficiaries in the event of the policyholders death.
- They can be used to pay off mortgages in the event of death.
- You can replace an income which is usually still required even if the mortgaage is paid off.
